SCORPIO (MORE ABOUT LOVE/LIFE/CAREER)
SCORPIO CONTINUED:
"This is the second post...just the second post."
(Normally, I would have a video available and we would be talking more about Gemini or Cancer.)
On this blog we are farther along on my zodiac designs and we are talking about Scorpios.
This sign, beside Aquarius, is the most "looked-up" sign. If you go on Youtube and find videos on some boring/stable earth sign like a Virgo, you might see views in the hundreds or thousands.
Aquarius and Scorpio...forget it...they have whole channels dedicated to "understanding" these signs.
Do you know what is funnier? There are so many Aqua-Scorp people looking each other's signs up. According to an astrologer I follow, while these two aren't the most compatible, this combo tends to get attracted to each other often and most confuse each other (because they are so alike and different.)
The last post about Scorps, I did a side-by-side comparison.
Here I will try to focus on solely Scorpio.
Scorp Strengths:
They are the most "loyal" friends. While they don't tend to hang with "weaklings" they make great defenders for a struggling friend.
Scorps are normally alpha-types who aren't "the brains." Think of the term "jug-head" and what picture that brings to mind. Do you see a super-psychical, ripped person, demanding temper, straight-forward attitude?
That is your typical Scorpio.
Sexy...sexy...hot. Do you see that photo above? Some signs in the zodiac are more sexy than others, but the sexiest is normally the Scorpio. You know when they zero-in on their prey when they give you their famous "stare."
Like I mentioned in the previous post, the scorpion is a stalker. Not that they mean to be this way, they are super-guarded about their intense feelings. The more intense, the more they will be a stalker about it.
If a Scorpio likes you they will act like they are hunting you instead of asking you out!
SIGNS A SCORPIO LIKES YOU (BECAUSE THEY ARE BLEEPING CONFUSING:)
1. You catch them staring at you.
2. They will do "playful" touches (remember with Scorpios it is about "connection." They might keeping "testing" the connection they experience with you by touching you and gauging their own bodies reactions--chemistry/butterflies/magnetism.) They will find weird ways to touch you that seem normal (brushing off lint.) It is about how they "sense the connection." They are pyshcic, if they acknowledge it or not. They are looking out for what their instincts tell them. So no "mind games" can ever win over a Scorp. You are either a true soulmate or not.
3. Jokes/Snide remarks/Playful quips. A scorpion is a "hunter" and not a mistake-maker. They will start making little remarks just to gauge your reaction. They might pull away just to see if you notice their absence and how you react. They will be looking at you intensely for cues. They "study" you. Understand exactly "who" you are and if it is worth "getting invested." Since this is a water-sign, they are ruled by their intense emotions. They do not deal with heartbreak easily so they set themselves up for success before asking people out.
SCORPIO AND HEARTBREAKS:
Scorps are heartbreakers, BECAUSE they do not deal well with heartbreaks ( they shoot you before you shoot them down type mentality.) If there was a "crazy" scale for the zodiac...This sign is the craziest! Why? They don't want to be heartbroken at all cost, who does?
Although, when it happens to them, they want revenge. If you dump them rudely, watch out! The Carrie Underwood song about taking a slugger to headlights is what happens. They can be pretty psychological too. For example, they may just date your best friend after a break-up to get under your skin.
THE RIGHT WAY TO BREAK IT OFF WITH A SCORPIO:
There is no "right way" but it is best to be super honest and let them understand what happened to give a sense of resolution to the person in a kind/gentle way. If there is no resolution you may end up with a stalker until their own feelings subside (remember "how" they got into the relationship with you was by trusting their own feelings of connection and developing enough trust in that to ask you out.) You may not exist on the same level of emotional intensity in the relationship as the Scorpio. That means leaving them to sort things out will have them clinging to hope while that connection dies down within them (having little to do with how you feel.) They will follow their feelings long after you have left.
SCORPIO'S ROLE IN THE ZODIAC:
Each sign has "it's role" to play in humanity. The water-bearers symbol describes them, for instance. In ancient times, the water-bearer (Aquarius-I just know this sign off the top of my head and I'm not meaning to slip back into a side-by-side comparison) would park themselves in the middle of town square and give water to anyone who is thirsty. Hence, my sign's characteristics are a "central figure" in social lives who will give a king or beggar water (it does not matter what status the person is) and they will quench that person's thirst. This is how Aquarius distributes knowledge to the rest of society...so the symbol is fitting. The "giver" of knowledge to humanity with no discrimination and genuine caring for "the fellow man."
Well...Scorpios have the symbol of the deadly-poisonous Scorpion...
That is no mistake.
The "sting" of a Scorpios' personality can be harsh, cutting, deadly as their "role in society" is to help people kill an outdated version of themselves in order to transform into their truest form.
Scorps are "transformation specialist." Unfortunately...it requires the "death" of an ego-based personality and a brutally honest scorpio who will slash you into change. That is, relationships with Scorpios are meant to provide the cruel kick-in-the-butt that changes a person. It is a forced change.
I am into butterflies, which represent change and transformation for the better. I use this symbolism in my life to encourage positive change, but Scorpio-change is a "death" change. The Tarot card for a Scorpio is the death card. In a lot of forms of Spirituality, including Christianity, death means "rebirth." The term "Apocalypse" in the bible means rebirth and the passages suggest a new start. Death is not meant to be scary, but the change or transformation associated with death requires the "brutal" forced change and sometimes pain.
Death is what surrounds Scorpio, literally, these people will find themselves in jobs where death is an element or something they will face (like a surgeon or cop.) They face childhoods that force them to get used to knowing how to continuously prevail after suffering large blows. For example, child abuse, or becoming orphaned in early years would be a Scorpio-like childhood. In some way the face "spiritual deaths" and are challenged by their experience to reemerge. This may take many Scorpios to dark paths, drugs etc. Although, no matter how dark it is in their nature to prevail. This is so that they come back to teach others how to do the same. After facing their own spiritual paths, Scorpios make great psychologist.

The ruling planet Pluto is the symbol for death.
The other ruling planet of Scorpio is Mars the planet-symbol for war.
Scorps have tempers due to Mars.
There are two "one wolves" in the Zodiac. Aquarius who is invested is not "blending in" with anyone to serve humanity with how they innovate from not being like anyone else.
Then there is Scorpio, also invested in not "blending in" with anyone because they would rather be alone. The lone wolf because they need to "know themselves" inside and out.
That sends them into themselves and away from the crowd.

When it comes to careers a Scorp will want a good mix of athletics and psychology. The "non-athletic" Scorp will become over-analytical. The athletic one...a warrior.

This is so fascinating to me. I'm not typically a believer in the zodiac myself, but I like to use Zodiac signs in the writing of my novels and the creation of characters. It's a nice template for personalities, and gives me some ground rules for how a character might behave when I'm stuck.
