Hello, it has been a while since I have blogged on "My Creative World." I feel like my life was going on this "course" with a steady rhythm of writing, painting, creating, and then...boom...suddenly I have been preforming in fashion shows all over (Miami, Los Angeles-Twice, Mexico, New York, Austin, etc...) There are more fashion shows coming. Here in San Antonio, I have done numerous shows at the Aztec Theater and recently my "fashion-art" was featured in a museum downtown for the San Antonio Fashion Week-SATX event. 

Now...I have some time to blog. I have been talking Astrology on Facebook and the "backstory" to that is very long. To make a story short, I created Astrology art inspired by the work of Gustav Klimt (who basically mixes media like gold leaf with paint. He also mixes representational art with abstract patterns.) 

So here are photos capturing my Astrology collection on VIDA:

TAURUS: 

If you are a Taurus, you are probably very attractive. Taurus is known to be one of the "attractive looking" zodiac signs. You are an "Earth" sign which means you don't like change, and favor stable situations. You love to indulge yourself with little sweets, candies, chocolates, and treats. You love to eat, and cooking meals that take hours to prepare is how you show love. When you are working, you are hard-working like a bull puling a plow to till soil...but if you get stuck in indulging the "good things in life" you can get a little lazy on your downtime preferring to chow down in front of a smorgasbord of snacks while watching T.V. or enjoying a show. You appreciate beauty in all forms: art, music, poetry, or even beautiful nature scenes. 

Cancers: You are a "water" sign and that means you are ruled more by your emotions and intuition over logic. Cancers are considered one of the "psychic" signs of the zodiac because of their sensitivity to others' emotions. This sensitivity makes you more nurturing than other signs, and even male cancers have a feminine quality to them. Male cancers are normally "clean cut" and care very much about their hygiene. Cancers make good cooks or artists because of their stellar intuition. Although, cancers don't tend to be popular by their own choosing. As a sensitive person, dealing with many energies can overwhelm their systems. They would rather focus their love on a handful of very close friends and family. Their sensitive ways keep them at home too. Rather than take on exhausting social scenes, they love to "Netflix and chill" with close companions. They are good listeners, psychologists, and can work through difficult relationship dynamics and fights. This makes them great for long term relationships. 

Leo: If you are a Leo...you famously seek attention. No matter what type of person you are, nerdy, sporty, drama-club-y, geeky, freaky, creepy... and so on...you most likely will end up famous for it. That is because you tend to gravitate towards any limelight available. Don't get me wrong, the light loves you. You are normally the "life of the party" who introduces yourself to everyone within minutes. At the end of the party your ability to "work a room" shows up in a hundred tagged photos with you and countless strangers who now consider you a "friend" (even though you were just being you.) If you aren't bald, well then you are known to play with your hair, and even keep in intentionally longer than most. In a relationship, you behave like a big cat, complete with a "pride" of love interests. Once you are in a married relationship, you become protective of your family life and engage in your children's lives...like really engage...you are the parent who leaves the bleachers to become the assistant coach no one invited to the field...Leos are easy to spot because of this, they "live out loud." Watch out for your temper though...you tend to "roar" when mad. 

Sagittarius, you are sooooooo cool. That is because you are a rolling stone. You enjoy going here, there, everywhere, and engage in everyone's culture. Your charming ways win everyone over. You are hard working...but not focused at all. So many things captivate and interest you. Not everything "sticks" and you have a difficult time becoming an expert at anything. The phrase "jack-of-all-trades, and master of none" is the curse of this sign. Your childlike curiosity keeps you intelligent, creative, and inventive. You are a fire sign, which means you burn bright, and burn out. As a result, relationships are difficult. How can you give "yourself" to someone else, if you don't know who you will be from one day to the next? You struggle with long term relationships but come to peace with the fact that each relationship was a lesson in love. You do "settle" on a true love situation or choose to wander the world in a state of exploration even if it a soulmate doesn't appear. 

Scorpio: OOOOooooh, Scorpios...you are too hot to handle. What can I say, I've studied you the same way you have studied me (an Aquarius.) That is because you are, by nature, a psychologist. As a water sign, you are a natural intuitive individual. You can intuit what is going on in a relationship long before the break-up. Scorpios, besides Aquarius, are considered "the lone wolves" of the zodiac. Unlike an Aquarius, who draws in a crowd with their uniqueness--but feels alone inside--Scorps repel "the crowd." Normally, not the most popular people in school, they intentionally take a seat in the back of the classroom and often become associated with the "goth" or "emo" types...but instead of officially joining "the goths" at school they are the goth-the-goths-are-scared-of. What are you doing in all that isolation? You "loner," you...Studying everyone...

You know everyone's secrets.

Good for you...a little creeper...but guess what? No one messes with a Scorpio. Everyone tends to make up stories for this strong "silent type." How do you know a Scorpio likes you? An intense stare. That is basically it. Good luck discerning their "I love you" stare from their "I hate you and have plotted your murder in my mind" stare...

Scorpio is one of the hardest signs to "figure out." They have memories like an elephant, and they are known for holding grudges if you wrong them. The "Count of Monte Cristo" must be a Scorpio, let's put it that way. A couple years of being wrongly imprisoned was all the time needed to cook up the plan to escape, retrieve a famous lost treasure, come back as a mysterious and wealthy count...to exact revenge on everyone! 

Who cares how many years have passed...and how they hurt themselves trying to hurt you...
